My Leg Lengthening Journey

My goal with this channel is to document my limb lengthening journey and help other people who are considering the procedure themselves.

I gained 11.5 cm (4.5 in) over two surgeries, 5.5 cm from the tibias and 6.0 cm from the femurs. Both procedures were done using the LON method (lengthening over nail). I was initially about 5’8” and I’m now over 6’.

I initially wanted to get the surgeries done in the US, but that turned out to be way too expensive. Going overseas was the only economically feasible route, and after narrowing the list down to several countries, I ultimately decided that Turkey would be the best option. I went with Wannabetaller because of their prices and good communication.

My first surgery was on the tibias, and it was performed in March of 2021. My second surgery was on the femurs, performed in July 2021, removal two months later.
