Brahma Gyan, Pure or Atma Gyan is the knowledge which every soul is longing for in each and every birth. But, the veil of ego (means our body) drawn over our soul restricts the knowledge and we live and die in that bondage of ego. We will never be free of the bondage of our ego called ” I ”. This ” I ” we talk about is the real Brahma. But, we misunderstand “I” with the body and call our whole body as ” I ” and give that body a name.

Atma Gyan is the knowledge of the real self which is the only actor acting in this entire universe and it is the soul living in the heart of every living beings.

Atma knowledge can be perceived from experienced teachers and yoga. The self which we call our body is essence of the real self present in our body. If we inhere as the real self, then only we can know the Atma in us. To inhere as the self, is just to give up all the desires of our mind.
