Initiative Pro Schach e.V.

We are an association that has set itself the goal of promoting chess. A major event highlight is the Sparkassen Chess Trophy, also known as International Dortmund Chess Days. The Sparkassen Chess Trophy is one of the most important and traditional chess events in the world.

And also quite independently of this outstanding project of the IPS, our club would like to gradually get involved in the coming years in the context of special events as an educational medium - also via digital platforms - on the subject of chess.
